The following dream experience and interpretation was submitted by a student of Gnosis.

I awoke in the astral plane to a mysterious nocturnal setting at my house. In those inebriated instances, I knew in that moment to invoke my Divine Mother. She immediately concurred to my call.

I was shown a video on a television screen; it was entitled: "The Path to the Liberation from the Ego." The words scrolled from left to right; the entire time I was enraptured and happy that I was receiving these teachings from my Divine Mother. I also was shown a beautiful internal name, belonging to part of my Being.

The next part was truly amazing. I was shown a diagram of ten portraits or faces, organized in two rows with five pictures each. I remember many details which are not important to reference or explain. What was significant was my face at the very bottom right, as well as some of the other outstanding portraits in the diagram.

A beautiful woman with golden hair was next to my face; I knew the name I witnessed on the television screen to belong to Her. She was an ineffable virgin, a woman of resplendant and sacred beauty.

Another face that stood out was a man with similar golden hair, who possessed the countenance of a lion. He resided within the top middle of the portraits, which indicated to me a position of much precedence.

Despite the impact these faces had on me, the most powerful, notable, and awe-inspiring was the very top left: the portrait of an ineffable and divine Old Man. He only revealed the left half of his face, since the other half was looking off into the abstract. His divine gray hair and potent stare indicated to me his wisdom. What struck me particularly was the fact he had an eye-patch. I wondered why he would wear such a thing, or how it was he had hurt himself to necessitate such an ornament.

This experience occured before I had any knowledge of Kabbalah. I was participating with a group that calls themselves "Gnostic," even though I learned through painful experience that they do not follow the tradition of Samael Aun Weor. When I picked up and studied the book "The Initiatic Path in the Arcana of Tarot and Kabbalah," I realized with great shock the significance of this experience.

The Ten Sephiroth were the ten portraits. My face on the bottom right signified Malkuth, the physical world and very bottom of the Tree. The beautiful celestial woman was Buddhi, my Valkyria or Divine Soul. The man with the resplendant and warrior-like countenance was Tiphereth, Siegfried, my Human Soul. And the most paramount of the portraits, the Old Man, was Kether, the Ancient of Days.

In Nordic mythology, Odin or Wotan has one eye and wears an eye-patch. This is because he gave away one of his eyes in order to acquire more knowledge. The fact that he only revealed one side of his face points to the Hebraic Kabbalah, since the visible aspect of the Father is Kether, while the hidden side of His face is in the Absolute.

To this day I am still amazed by this experience. I had understood at the time that it was from my Being, yet it was only by coming to this website and studying the books that I've understood it. The fact that my experience contains all these symbols which I've later verified has thoroughly shaken me. I experienced these things before I even read about them. This only solidifies my faith in these teachings and inspires me to keep ahead in my work.
